Well as usual I kind of went nuts on something. I'm not suppose to be
doing this but studying for an exam coming up a week from this coming
monday, but I took a break from the books and was sort of absorbed by
this mini project.
I so often find that that I get a big time blessing when I set out to
send the group stuff and find non group related but definetly related to
me gold nuggets of information. I'm going to have to go and see how I
can get some of those books and tapes to listen to. Of course most
library's don't ILL non book items but where theres a will theres a way.

active in several advocacy groups, including Social Action for Latinos
for Unity Development (SALUD), Chicano Law Students Association, and
Catolicos por la Raza. In 1970 he was a participant in the
Mexican-American reapportionment effort known as Chicanos for Fair
Representation and in 1981 became the executive director of Californios
for Fair Representation to affect that decade's reapportionment. Also
engaged in litigation before the California Supreme Court in cases
arising from police abuse, his arguments have helped to establish legal
precedents for victims' rights to restitution and for discovery rights
in policy abuse cases.

origins, theogony, and history of the early inhabitants of Mexico: 1.
Origen de los Mexicanos. [Mexico, 16th cent.] Copy of a fragment from a
report on the first tribes to inhabit Mexico, prepared by anonymous
Franciscan friars at the request of Juan Cano. 4 p. 2. Historia de los
Mexicanos por sus pinturas. [Mexico, 16th cent.] Copy of a treatise by
Toribio de Motolinía dealing with Indian accounts of the creation of the
world and succeeding developments, including the arrival in Mexico of
its early inhabitants, based upon Indian painted and oral records. There
are 20 chapters and an appended table of events from 1351 to 1519. 19 p.
(con't) 3. Notes in French on the theogony, mythology, and ancient
history of Mexico, followed by a genealogical report in Spanish on early
Indian rulers. The latter section is probably copied from material
compiled by Franciscan Archbishop Zumárraga at the request of Juan Cano.
