Fresnillo, Zacatecas

Hi everyone, I've been looking for records at the Family History Center and 
this keeps coming up.  I know there is a large city called Fresnillo, but on 
the records I see, the place where my family is from during the 1860's is 
called Fresnillo de Gonzalez Echeverria.  Is this the same place or is this 
the name of the ranch.  On one record, a possible relative (Antonio 
Gonsalez) was the parent of Pedro Gonsalez (my great grandfather) and he was 
born on Rancho de los Gonsalez.  Does this sound familiar to anyone with 
knowledge of the area?  I'm trying to pinpoint some locales, because I know 
for sure from repeated stories that one of my great grandfathers worked at 
La Hacienda Trancoso.  When I look at the Zacatecas maps, there seems to be 
a couple of places that are near, like Fresnillo (the city), Trancoso (now a 
town), and Villa Gonzales (but who knows if this was the later version of 
Rancho de Gonsalez).  Any of your thoughts or knowledge in these areas would 
be very appreciated and enlightening.  Josie
