Joseph,
In order to change or to modify, the name of the
folder. We had to be the person who created the folder.
Because, I went and created a new folder, with
all my files in it. After, creating the folder, the "edit", "delete", and
"cut" options, became available.
So, Joseph could, you delete my old
folder.
Thanks,
Jonathan

Subject: [ranchos] File Management
Request
I have a very simple request if we each do our own
small part. Or a large job if I have to do it. I just worked on helping
someone in the group. but with over 50 members I can easily forget which
profiles are which names and thereby not know how to link the genealogies
(listed under the persons name to the person subscribed under a different
profile.
here is what I'd like each of you to do:
1) go to the
files area
2) if your genealogy is on this page go to the far right of
your name and click on the word "edit"
3) when the window opens in
the space called "Folder name" put your email address next to your
name.
4) click "save changes"
5) you're done
look at it
and it should look like my folder or something similar to this:
Joseph
Puentes' Ancestors
makas@...
thanks,
joseph
