Yes, I
agree that this is an excellent vol. set. Hopefully Stephen will continue
to keep us up to date as to when the newer ed. will become available since he
knows Dn. Mariano Gonzales-Leal. I was able to fortunately access (via
Interlibrary Loan) both vols. 1 & 2 of the first ed., and the information is
incredible.
Vol.
2 covers last names from A-Gomez-Portugal.
Maybe
Stephen could put in a word for me, and include my (5th Great Grandfather)
ancestor, Vicente-Ferrer Gomez, (Please see the following VicenteGomez family
tree) and not just Agustin, his brother in the newer edition.
:)
Hey,
Vicente & his wife, Maria-Cayetana Macias(-Valadez) left a large number of
descendants in the Jalostotitlan area.
Okay,
maybe just mention that Agustin had a brother, Vicente-Ferrer Gomez.
Pg.466, under Segunda Linea of the second volume.
:)
To quote my dad, "Nosotros los Gomez, no seriamos de mucho dinero, pero si
de orgullo".
I have
been busy working on my San Juan de los Lagos lines (my maternal
grandmother was Juana Padilla and the following show what I have found on her
line) :
Irma
