Yes this is great you have your own copy of a hard to find book
[WorldCat showed it is available at only 6 libraries] available to you
close by. But for other books that you might want to consider doing an
ILL for I would look at WorldCat. Check with your local library and see
if they subscribe to WorldCat and if you can access it at home or maybe
you can access it only at the branch or a University library. . .in
fact maybe taking Adult continuing education or being a friend of the
library will allow you to access WorldCat from home. Your local large
University library might surprise you as to how much information they
have on Jalisco. I live close to Duke and they have soooo much that it
will take me many years to be comfortable that I've accessed all the
info that might be valuable to my research.
WorldCat is a Library Catalog of Libraries all over the world. When you
access it and plug in keywords like "Los Altos de Jalisco" you get

So you can see this is only the first ten hits of 83 books and a lot of
libraries own some of the books so I would hope that you would be able
to do ILL on some of them.
