Interesting...I found some of my family in Fresnillo films as well as Sombrerete, if you need me to do any look-ups for you let me know.   Contact John Schmal he is the historian for Somos Primos and he and I had done some research together and he knows the scoop on the records that are missing.  For some reason I remember him telling me these records can be found in Las Cruces, New Mexico.  John runs the Family history center and also teaches classes at the local Santa Monica, CA branch.  Let me know if you need his email address.  I think you told me you have it.    - Carol

I just today found out that my Puente[s] line was only temporarily in
Sombrerete and origianlly was from Zacacetas, Zacatecas. Woe is me if
