Rosalinda Ruiz; My great grandmother was Paula Banuelos,
of Jerez, Zacatecas. I wonder if one of your Banuelos relatives was Paula
Banuelos. She married Francisco Macias of Jerez. Would you look up your
line and see if there is a connection? I wonder, is was jerez a big palce in the
1800's? Are there many churches there ? I could look up some things if I had the
names of the churches there in Jerez.
Any way thank you.

Rosalinda
Hi Angie--
I'm glad you related all this info. First of all, the
Sandoval/Banuelos couple you mentioned doesn't sound familiar, but that
doesn't mean they aren't related. The Banuelos line that Joseph and I
descend from is from Tepetongo, and my branch moved to Huejucar. I think
they come from Jerez before Tepetongo. My Sandoval line jumps around,
but does appear to start in Tlaltenango with Pedro de Sandoval who m. 6/3/1709
Juana Cortes. There may be a connection...
BTW, Kitty and I are meeting on the 27th instead-- I had something come
up on the 26th. If you can make it, let me know.
Will you show me how Rose Holly's son is related to me? I've
started looking at her file, but have only seen some intermarriage, but no
direct relationship. Thanks.
I hope all is well with you--
Rosalinda

Rosalinda
It does seem like a small world. For
about 30 plus of us in this group and we are finding relatives in
common. Seems very unlikely but its happening.
Here is a
list of the people I have been able to connect to, (hope I didn't forget
anyone):
*Arnoldo Garcia - Carrion-Cardenas (4C1R); Miramontes-Gaeta
(5C); Campos-Huerta (5C); Covarrubias-Ponse (8C)
*Rosalinda Ruiz
- Grano-Covarrubias (7C); Soto-Salazar (7C1R); Gaeta- Almeda
(7C1R)
*Stella (similar to Rosalinda with one exception) -
Grano-Covarrubias (7C); Soto-Salazar (7C1R); Gaeta-Almeda (7C1R);
Perez-Haro (5C1R)
*Roseholly - Gaeta-Mayorga (6C2R)
*Joseph
Puentes - Romero-Noriega (7C1R)
Roseholly, since you (or your son)
are related to my Gaeta-Mayorga line, which is a descendant of my
Gaeta-Almeda line, you are then also related to Rosalinda and
Stella. You are also related to Arnoldo since the Miramontes-Gaeta
line descends from the Gaeta- Mayorga line. The five of us all
descend from the same Gaeta family just at different
generations.
Rosalinda and Joseph, To add to the Banuelos
discussion...I have this ancestors marriage information:
EUGENIO
DE SANDOBAL Male Marriages: Spouse: GERTRUDIS
DE CASTANEDA Marriage: 26 APR 1773 Tlaltenango
De Sanchez Roman, Zacatecas, Mexico Messages: Extracted marriage
record for locality listed in the record. The source records are usually
arranged chronologically by the marriage date. Source
Information: Batch No.: Dates: Source Call
No.: M607142 1769 - 1791 0443970
Eugenio Sandoval's
parents were listed as Juan Antonio Sandoval and Maria Rosa
Banuelos. But I haven't been able to find any further information
on this Sandoval/Banuelos couple. Have either of you two come
across them?
Thanks, Angie Godina
