wonderful. . .I get nervous with this stuff because I can get so flustered
with it so quickly. . .I have a confession. When I was encouraging you to
be patient I was saying that only to force myself to be patient. I was concerned
that I would so quickly throw my hands up and say "heck if I know." thankfully
it never reached that point. And if I hadn't made that confession I could
have remained on that high plateau you had me on. . .nope not me I'm down
in the trenches with everybody else. Just a loco thats wingin it.
by the way you're from San Jo right? Have you ever heard of that Ramirez
lady that lives in San Jose that wrote that Genealogy book? I just got it
on interlibrary loan because it talks about Miranda and Lugo (names on my
dads maternal side of the family). Unfortuneately for me they all seem to
have come from Sinaloa instead. but there is some very good info on the early
California Ranchos in the book. If you are interested I have the book in
my car and I'll get you the exact title later. It is in some of the SJ libraries
since that is where she is from. Heck you might even know her.
well its 3 am and past my bedtime. I just got home about 1: 45 and like to
get to bed around 2:30 so I can get up early and start all over again.
let me know if this "Technical Vato" can help you again . . .

ps: if you are using your home computer just click that little box "remember
this on this computer" when you sign in. As long as your computer is up and
running you won't have to log in. Otherwise you'll have to sign it every
time.

Joseph,
I finally got it. I had to re-enter everything even though I had written
down the previous password but for some reason it wouldn't accept it.
Thanks for your help.
Okay I'm sure there are several of you out there that can't access the "files,
photos, Links" and other non-public files that are available to this Yahoo
Group. Here is why mostlikely. . .you haven't registered with Yahoo.
You need to register with Yahoo and get your own ID and Password. Here are
direction on how to do this. If any of this is even a little bit unclear
then email me and if you are patient we'll work on this together and eventually
get it. . .the key word there is being patient.
so here are the instructions on how to get your free ID and password:
go to: http://groups.yahoo.com/
up in the top right click on "Register"
fill out the form (FREE) carefully writing down
whatever ID and password you choose (This part i! s critical!!!)
put the paper you wrote down your ID and Password in a safe place (don't
do like me and have to go hunting for those little scattered pieces of paper
I have with various and sundry passwords and id's)
After you've done this you'll have a Free Yahoo email address and account.
For ID I sometimes use my first name and zip code you decide whatever if
easy for you to remember.
After you do this click "Submit this form" and you should be signed up for
full access.
NOTE: if you don't want to be getting advertising email from Yahoo uncheck
any boxes at the bottom before submitting the form.
I think this is all if I've forgotten let me know and we'll go over it a
little deeper.
