Re: [ranchos] Alicia and others: How to get a free Yahoo ID and Password

Joseph,

I have tried that numerous times and it doesn't work. It kicks back no matter what new password I try to enter. It tells me that password is already taken no matter what new or different word I enter. I looked for the word or Icon to register and it doesn't come up. I do recall registering with Yahoo upon acceptance to this group.

I will try again but to date have been unsuccessful.

Thanks,

Alicia

Okay I'm sure there are several of you out there that can't access the "files, photos, Links" and other non-public files that are available to this Yahoo Group. Here is why mostlikely. . .you haven't registered with Yahoo. You need to register with Yahoo and get your own ID and Password. Here are direction on how to do this. If any of this is even  a little bit unclear then email me and if you are patient we'll work on this together and eventually get it. . .the key word there is being patient.

so here are the instructions on how to get your free ID and password:

go to:  http://groups.yahoo.com/

up in the top right click on "Register"

fill out the form (FREE) carefully writing down whatever ID and password you choose (This part is critical!!!)

put the paper you wrote down your ID and Password in a safe place (don't do like me and have to go hunting for those little scattered pieces of paper I have with various and sundry passwords and id's)

After you've done this you'll have a Free Yahoo email address and account.

For ID I sometimes use my first name and zip code you decide whatever if easy for you to remember.

After you do this click "Submit this form" and you should be signed up for full access.

NOTE: if you don't want to be getting advertising email from Yahoo uncheck any boxes at the bottom before submitting the form.

I think this is all if I've forgotten let me know and we'll go over it a little deeper.

joseph
