Help & Advise Needed

I am subscribing to all of you for some advise on locating my g=grandfathers birth records ( Fortino Romero ). Practically all of my research has been here in Huejucar and I realize people moved around allot but I am not sure where to go from here.My grandfather Severiano Romero was born in Huejucar in 1898 son of Fortino Romero & Ciriaca Sandoval. I have the record for Fortino's marriage (1895 )and the baptismal films for Huejucar starting with the year 1800 to 1904 and he does not appear in the baptismal films for the time frame he would have been born. I obtained the the film informacion matrimonial hoping this would show me where he was from. Well the film states that he was an originario and vecino del Rancho del Paraje. At the time of his marriage it shows him to be 25 years old but the baptismal records do not show him. I tried to get the birth records for Huejucar for the year 1870 but they only have them for starting with the year 1872. I requested the film bautismos de Colotlan 1863-1867 but sure would appreciate any insight you may provide.
